Notes: -

• Eligibility:
  All scholarships are exclusively for the wards of Air Force veterans or their spouses who are registered members of AFA, except for Sl. No. 10, which is open to wards of veterans/spouses from all three Services.

  
  Applicants must attach a valid proof of identity of the ward and proof of AFA membership.

• Means-cum-Merit Criteria:
  All scholarships are awarded on a “Means-cum-Merit” basis, except for Sl. No. 10 and Sl. No. 17.
  Applicants must submit income proof, along with the last three months’ pension account bank statement.

• Bank Details:
  A cancelled cheque of the bank account in which the scholarship amount is to be credited must accompany the application.

• Academic Records:
  A certified copy of the previous year’s mark sheet from the school/college is required.

• Verification:
  All information and documents submitted by the applicant will be subject to verification.

• Last Date of Submission:
  The completed application must reach the AFA Tamil Nadu Branch office (address given below) on or before 15 August for consideration in the current academic year.

• Membership Condition:
  Only those Air Veterans who became AFA members within one year of retirement, or who have completed a minimum of two years of membership, are eligible to apply.
